The format is exactly the same, object + mâi gèe + classifier. And, as always, omit the object if it’s the same as the classifier. Using the same examples as in the previous lesson:
mâi gèe khon
a few people
ród-yon mâi gèe khan
not many cars
năng-sĕuu mâi gèe lâem
a few books
bâan mâi gèe lăng
not many houses
mâi gèe hâwng
not many rooms
năng-sĕuu-phim mâi gèe chà-bàp
a few newspapers
And using the same sentence examples from the previous lesson:
Peter mee phêuuan mâi gèe khon
Peter doesn’t have many friends
Jane dèuum gaa-faae mâi gèe thûuai
Jane didn’t drink many cups of coffee
khăo mee gaang gaeng khăa sân mâi gèe dtuua
